Once upon a time, in the bustling downtown Halifax 'hood, there was a bakery that filled the air with the irresistible aroma of freshly baked cinnamon buns and flaky croissants. It was a place where people would eagerly wait in line, savoring the anticipation of indulging in those heavenly treats.
Sadly, the pandemic forced the closure of that beloved bakery, but fear not, because pastry chef extraordinaire Laura MacLeod has found a way to bring the magic back into our lives with the release of "Foraging For Carbs: Recipes From The Old Apothecary Bakery" cookbook!
